Regal Pointe Orlando 20 & IMAX debuts one of the most technologically advanced theater experiences in the United States- 4DX. It features effects similar to ones found in a theme-park 4D attraction including wind, leg ticklers, water spraying, air jets, motion seats, fog and more. Some effects, like the fog, snow and wind, fill the theater, while other effects, like the leg ticklers and water spraying, are based around each seat.

Annie Chun’s is rolling out its Asian Entrees, as well as sea salt and sea salt and vinegar varieties of its Organic Seaweed Snacks. Products in the Asian Entrees line are gluten-free and non-GMO Project Verified, and they come in three varieties: red curry, green curry and sesame soy noodle. The expanded line provides more choices for those with dietary restrictions since we know it’s difficult to find Asian options in this category.

CJ Entertainment has released an impressive trailer for a war film titled ‘Battleship Island’, from director Ryoo Seung-wan. Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea in 1944, the film is about the 400+ Koreans that were conscripted into slave labor mining coal on an island known as “Battleship Island”. The main cast includes Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub, Song Joong-ki and Lee Jung-hyun.

KCON USA will be back again this summer celebrating their sixth anniversary. KCON is returning to New York at the Prudential Center from June 23-24 and to Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center from August 18-20. New this year for Los Angeles will be an additional concert added for a total of three concerts.

Playing like an updated version of Park Chan-wook’s Oldboy set in the world of online video games, Park Kwang-hyun’s Fabricated City tracks the efforts of a desperate gamer to uncover the forces behind his unjustified imprisonment for murder. Featuring a fast-paced plot and a snappy visual style, Park’s absorbing third feature should appeal equally to high-tech enthusiasts and action film fans.

The dizzying array of new stand-alone restaurants headed to Westfield UTC aren’t scheduled to debut until later this year, but the complex’s food court is getting an influx of fresh options that are due this spring. Scheduled to launch at the end of April is Bibigo Fresh Korean Kitchen, part of a global company with its own branded line of Korean packaged foods and several quick-service eateries in the Los Angeles area that has plans to open 130 locations nationwide by 2020.

Bibigo, a popular fast-casual concept known for its Korean-inspired menu will open its first San Gabriel Valley location, in Arcadia. With the launch of the newest location, Bibigo will also debut two new Grill options including Soy Garlic Chicken and Red Chicken along with Beef Mandu, a signature Bibigo dumpling with a juicy beef and vegetable filling.

CJ 4DPLEX has today revealed a remarkable line-up of films – including most of the world’s biggest blockbusters – to be available in more than 360 auditoriums spanning 44 countries around the world. These new releases include the following titles from global studios premiering in various regions around the world during the first half of 2017: Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, The LEGO Batman Movie, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Beauty and the Beast, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, and more.

Saigon Bodyguards reflects the undergoing globalization of the film industry. Produced by Canadian based Rhombus Media and Korean giant CJ Entertainment, this Vietnamese action comedy is helmed by Japanese director Ken Ochiai (The Tiger Mask, Ninja the Monster). Probably due to its international nature, the film quite stands out from other Southeast Asian productions, which mostly generate variations of the romantic comedy.

CJ Entertainment announced a slew of deals for spy actioner “Confidential Assignment”, ahead of its market debut at the European Film Market in Berlin next month. The film has been sold to 42 territories, including the U.S., and will open in American cinemas via direct distribution by CJ on Jan. 27. Directed by Kim Sung-hoon, Confidential Assignment stars popular actor Hyun Bin as a North Korean agent sent to the South to track down a rogue military officer. Yoo Hae-jin plays the role of a South Korean detective who tries to interfere with the investigation and uncover the real motive behind Lim’s mission.
