New 4DX Theater at Pointe Orlando Regal

Regal Pointe Orlando 20 & IMAX debuts one of the most technologically advanced theater experiences in the United States- 4DX. It features effects similar to ones found in a theme-park 4D attraction including wind, leg ticklers, water spraying, air jets, motion seats, fog and more. Some effects, like the fog, snow and wind, fill the theater, while other effects, like the leg ticklers and water spraying, are based around each seat.

Annie Chun’s Refreshes Brand, Expands Offerings

Annie Chun’s is rolling out its Asian Entrees, as well as sea salt and sea salt and vinegar varieties of its Organic Seaweed Snacks. Products in the Asian Entrees line are gluten-free and non-GMO Project Verified, and they come in three varieties: red curry, green curry and sesame soy noodle. The expanded line provides more choices for those with dietary restrictions since we know it’s difficult to find Asian options in this category.

Teaser Trailer: 'Battleship Island'

CJ Entertainment has released an impressive trailer for a war film titled ‘Battleship Island’, from director Ryoo Seung-wan. Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea in 1944, the film is about the 400+ Koreans that were conscripted into slave labor mining coal on an island known as “Battleship Island”. The main cast includes Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub, Song Joong-ki and Lee Jung-hyun.

Bibigo Fresh Korean Kitchen Headed to Westfield UTC in San Diego

The dizzying array of new stand-alone restaurants headed to Westfield UTC aren’t scheduled to debut until later this year, but the complex’s food court is getting an influx of fresh options that are due this spring. Scheduled to launch at the end of April is Bibigo Fresh Korean Kitchen, part of a global company with its own branded line of Korean packaged foods and several quick-service eateries in the Los Angeles area that has plans to open 130 locations nationwide by 2020.

South Korean Film 'Confidential Assignment' Sells to Multiple Territories

CJ Entertainment announced a slew of deals for spy actioner “Confidential Assignment”, ahead of its market debut at the European Film Market in Berlin next month. The film has been sold to 42 territories, including the U.S., and will open in American cinemas via direct distribution by CJ on Jan. 27. Directed by Kim Sung-hoon, Confidential Assignment stars popular actor Hyun Bin as a North Korean agent sent to the South to track down a rogue military officer. Yoo Hae-jin plays the role of a South Korean detective who tries to interfere with the investigation and uncover the real motive behind Lim’s mission.
